As mentioned previously, I play on my computers a lot. Three of my systems at home are running Windows 2000 - one is the Advance Server version. I also used to work on a Mac and snagged an old one from Immersant before the doors closed. I will not get into that whole Windows/Mac argument, but I will just say "what happened to the right-click button on the Mac mouse?" I also have a copy of Mandrake Move Linux for when I need to boot up a machine to do some testing in Linux. I am still not a huge Linux fan. It seems to be a great operating system If you are running a server, but I still cannot see too many regular everyday people needing to run a server on their home PC.

I also like to play on the 'net as well. For about 5 years, I hosted a GLBT community called gaycybergeeks.com. In April of 2001, I shut down gaycybergeeks.com due to a lack of interest. It was fun while it lasted, and someday I would like to start up some new type of community web site for the GLBT community.

In December 2001, I became a volunteer editor on DMOZ - the Open Directory Project - the "largest human-edited directory of the web". This is truly an absorbing undertaking. I can spend hours a day editing. Look at my profile if you want to see which categories that I am currently editing. Just do not ask me to help you to get your web site listed.

I very rarely do the bar thing these days. Now and then, I will go across the road to the Artful Dodger for a few pints, and most weeks we go to the Pilot after work for a few, but other than that it has been a long time since I stopped by Woody's.

It seems kind of silly to list a bunch of links to other pages that I'm sure you either already know about, or that you can easily find by yourself by doing a search in ODP or Google. The only good reason for maybe listing a few things here is that it might give you a bit of insight into who I am - no matter how scary that really is. Nevertheless, I have listed a few links above to web site that I find somewhat interesting.
